be worse."
"Yes, it could be much worse. Last year we didn't even
have a summer."
"It was miserable, wasn't it? It didn't stop raining once."
"No, not once. But after that dry spring, we needed the
rain."
"Yes, the plants in my garden were all dying."
"You haven't had to worry about the lack of rain this
spring."
"No, but I would like to see the nice weather hold a bit
longer."
"I think it will. The weather forecaster said not to expect
anymore rain until next week."
"Oh, that's good news indeed."
"Yes, very good news."
"Well, cheerio. It was nice talking to you."
